I'm a composer, sound designer and plugin developer. For the last 10 years, SampleScience has been my main musical project. I've recently dive into the vaporwave scene with an album under the pseudonym Midnight Shopping.
Project-7: Moon Zero Four
This is the project files for my track "Moon Zero Four". The project consist mainly in the public domain movie clips I've sampled for the track and my very simple synth line I've added to them. I couldn't ad the bassline found in the track because it comes from a commercial sample library but it maybe very easy to reproduce with a simple bass patche and a controler. The project is 90 bpm, 4/4, no specified key and each samples has it's number of bars in their file name (2b, 4b, 1b). Looking foward to hear what you'll do with the track!

Recordings for Project-7
This piece all started with a piano improv that evoked thoughts of a Dadaist Carnival. Naturally, Mister Cosma's Canfield Fair recordings fit perfectly into this theme, as well as the gymnasts who so recently filled my television screen, stretching their muscles all the way from Brazil to Kansas City. The Moon Zero recordings helped a bit with coloring the surreal landscape.
