CASSETTEGERMs are Tapegerm projects consisting of sources from vintage cassette albums. This was Tapegerm's original concept; to source cassette albums found in GAJOOB's archive of thousands of cassettes submitted to the magazine from the 1980s to present and arrange with the artists to make the audio open source for artists to reinterpret the sounds in new recordings by way of further spotlighting the original recordings.
