Buzzsaw & The Shavings A Mix to Scroll Past-Number 111
Whilst you scroll, did you know...The fallen King Louis-Philippe and his family, the royal ladies of the Court of France and a slim attendence of guards departed the palace and issued onto the Place du Carousel, already filled with the victorious citizens of Paris, delivering a gathering of opulent and gilded coaches, the incomparable carriages of old Versailles, the cabs of Louis XIV and Louis XVI to the flames. Illumined by this funeral pyre of the Kingdom of France, the royal family skirted the popular festival that diverted all attentions and they attained the Place de Concorde, which had hosted the guillotine and received the blood of their ancestors. There two carriages awaited, spared the volatile temper of the city, and the King and his family entered in a rapid and harried manner; this attracted the attention of an assembling crowd in the square. Some elderly members of the mob recognised the King and Queen and cried out that their misfortune be respected. When an officer who attended the regal family asked that the crowd and its passions desist from harming the King, he was answered, “What? Do you take us for assassins? Let the King get away!” Credits: Includes loops by Eddie the Rat and Electroearwig. Genre: itz a cutter.

Buzzsaw & The Shavings A Mix to Scroll Past-Number 68
Whilst you scroll, did you know...After the retreat of Heraclius a series of royal phantoms had briefly and uncertainly sat upon the Persian throne and the most recent, one Yezdegerd, no more than fifteen years old, was informed of the menace that had appeared upon the far bank of the Euphrates and he blanched and quailed at the sight of a proffered cuirass, a slave shielding his glance from the odious implement of war. His ministers resolved that one General Rustam must supply the want of valour of their new sovereign. He accepted his assignment with élan along, and perhaps because of a train of camels that transported honey and gold and lascivious damsels. The Sassanid army was swollen to over 100,000 men as it advanced to face the array of Muslims. A vast whirlwind of sand suddenly appeared the following morning, devouring the votaries of Zoroaster who succumbed to chaos and threw away their arms, driven by a grim prophecy of the Magi, their affright broadcast to Rustam who was long enjoying the charms of sensual delight. The thought of his exposure to danger was sufficient enough for him abandon his tent of wine and amour and join his soldiers in flight. Rustam’s course was intercepted by an intrepid Arab who toppled the fleeing general with his lance and split his head from the body; the gristly trophy was waved about along with the captured emblem of the Sassanids and this only fed the dismay and despair of the Persians. Zebra Mann The Belligerent Bovine
Usually I try to modify loops from several different artists for each Zodiac series song, but today, I got lost in the AGW folders. Sometimes that happens.
This one is best played as loud as you can stand it, but turn it up too much and it will melt your ear goggles, and probably blow your brain out the back of your skull. I think you'd be best to just stick with external speakers. Credits: Assorted loops by AntiGravity workshop. Genre: Abstract Ambient.

Buzzsaw & The Shavings A Mix to Scroll Past-Number 17
Whilst you scroll, did you know...upon the morning of the 7th of November, 1917, Kerensky, still persisting in hope that fidelity and duty to his expiring government still might persist in the Russian army beyond the confines of Petrograd, his oratory exciting their intervention, mounted into a touring car that followed behind another vehicle of a similar make festooned in the dress of a profusion of American flags. The streets upon the palace on the first day of the Revolution were hidden in the vast numbers of the Bolshevik soldiers distracted by celebration on the first morning of the triumph of the Revolution and they must not notice the passing figure of Kerensky forever to depart the city and at length the nation itself, as his venture was rendered vain, a military repulse answering him, and Kerensky at last compelled to flee Russia in disguise and commence fifty years in exile, at length settling as scholar in remote Pennsylvania. The trembling residue of the Provisional Government remained within the Winter Palace and in the last moments of its authority, these pathetic figures might sit wreathed in the fumes of cigarettes, drawing up forth proclamations that commanded the Russian masses to lend their support to the Provisional Government. Zebra Mann The Manipulative Crab
Of the people I've met in my life that were born under this sign, I discovered that they had a tendency to become unpleasant and painful to be around. So maybe Cancer isn't a great name for a star sign, since it is also the name of a very dreaded disease. This is the fifth mix in the Zodiac series. Credits: Loops by Arthur Loves Plastic, Blind Mime, and Buzzsaw. Genre: Abstract Ambient.

Buzzsaw & The Shavings A Brisk March Around the Neusiedler See
Fortified with the hearty red wine of the Burgenland and the animating festivity of Vienna, a circular excursion about this charming steppe lake is commenced, and visited are the communities and towns of Andau and Rust and Illmitz and Pamhagen and Wallern and Morbisch am See and Podersdorf am See and Weiden am See and Fertoujlak...ah yes, a border is crossed at length. Credits: Includes ftp loops by DeVico and Electroearwig. Genre: Germcore.

Zebra Mann The Valkyrie Leader
The fourth in the Zodiac series. The Valkyrie in the title is attributed to Wagner's famous opera, as the original Die Walküre always brings to my mind centaur warriors on the battlefield. Since Sagittarius is represented by a centaur, it all just seems to fit. Any resemblance to the original Die Walküre is purely coincidental. Credits: Loops by DeVico, Magical Cigarette and DAMcDonald.. Genre: Abstract Ambient.

5-Hi!

Hello Gang!
A kwik thank youse to whoever heedless hellion horders have made my collab’s from the Lab number five this week. I am happy to report that video production is @ an all-time high, and that more remixes are due in short course. More remix archives will be available soon, including some retro gems.
I've uploaded some new loops to my open loops folder for everyone to play with; most of them are found sounds, edited to smaller sizes. I hope you will find them useful.
First you can't get sight of me, now you can't get rid of me. Apart from several more vid's in my sudden "What I Did on My Tapegerm Vacation" visual series, I am now planning new EPs for iTunes release with Dave "The Remix King" Fuglewicz and Chris Phinney's Mental Anguish squish. Also expect a slew of new Tapegerm-related remixes of my own Tapegerm-related, uh, relations. And on top of that there is more to come, but I haven't even conceived of it yet but know I will and that is the same thing as saying it is.
Tapegerm Remix Archives Redux! Have yourself some big fun!

O'er these years many of you, for reasons of your own generally unfathomable to me, have decided to take up my enlightened self-interest remix-wise and create some awesome work. To celebrate my own domain I am creating a directory chock full of TG remix goodness. If you are looking to cull some time, go get some. There's something for everybody, and even if by some bizarre misfortune you haven't remixed my stuff yet...it is now!

Are you a lover sonic vibration and psycho audio stimulation? If so, these albums will feed your addictions without mercy.
Still have not got the podcast ready yet but in the meantime I have recorded a new music project called Xolostar Warrior - if you want to listen the link is here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1092187
I discern after two such mixes that I am wading ever more deeply in a theme of lakes across the face of the Earth. Given my storied knowledge of geography, many such themed mixes might ensue, and with fortune the lakes coming shall be ever greater in depth, offering a better chance the mix sink the more deeply.
It seems I do my best work (and I use best in a very figurative sense here) if I have a pattern to follow. So my next mixes will be based on the twelve signs of the zodiac. I don't take any of that New Age nonsense with more than a grain of salt, but then, salt makes everything just a bit more palatable.
