LOFI Image for Padukem
Anyone else as well image not lofi really but the software we use distorts images for songs like mad. Really. One thing I dislike about the software is that. Took this photo in 07 in Biloxi. Anyways here it is hopefully in full glory. Can you find the velvet :-)

Looks like some rock-laden cement is meeting up with some smoother cement, and a couple of objects are on the rocky cement, but those objects are still pretty hard to figure out. Sickest dream remix changed again.
Really only one more time I promise :-) Seems like EMI did not cotton to well to the Barracudas intro so back to the original with vox same as the second version & intro slightly different.

"Now I think that the EMI police are watching TG. Wow, does that mean we're notorious? Great mix with or wothout the "evil" sample. It's all Gluck's fault anyhow. ;-)"--
David Fuglewicz (on 09/19/10 10:36:56)
"The funny thing is that EMI, my label when the sampled part was recorded for the album my band did with them, is the one that blocked the sample. Naturally, as they own the album. A mere 29 years later ;) And I am so living in the 1980s that I didn't even think it would happen. What's interesting is that Myspace, where I tried to post it, has some robot or other that must search for copyright infringed material and block it. So I have been saved from myself!"--
Jeremy Gluck (on 09/19/10 01:08:29)
"Keep at it, someday, you'll get it just how you want it. Your public will wait for you, and they will be glad for their patience. I follow in your footsteps, and idolize you."--

10 Years Infection Project Crediting
When uploading a mix to this project please use 10 Years Infection Project in the credits section so that the song actually goes on the page. No abreviations please it will not work correct if you do that.
Also its nice to know what artist loops were used as well.

Louis Boone has died :-(
Its a sad day or week or what have you in synthesist land. Friend & fellow comrade Louis Boone has died. Circumstances & more info forthcoming maybe. Fortunately I was able over the years to record with him some in Alien Planetscapes & a few other things over the last 20 years or so. You will not find a lot on the net about Louis. Search My Space for Born To Go. I released a tape by Louis as well way back in the day & he plays on March Of The Electronic Dilletantes (revisted) on my page here at TG. You can also find him on the Equinox excerpt track & Never on Sunday track on the HRM page.

Crediting Tracks Proper So They Go On The Proper Pages
OK so yeah I hate to nag a bit but quite a few tracks often are not showing up on the pages like they should. Improper crediting is why so when you are downloading the loops it says on the top of that loop page what to put in the credits & you must put it in them just like it says so the songs go auto on the Guest Artist, Project or Open Loops pages.
Please pay attention to that detail its how we want the pages to be so the tracks show up there. Also then I do not have to straighten it out & I do not always straighten them out unless I have the time. If you forget how to credit you can always look at the drop down menu & get the page you need to see how it should be. Also always use the credits section for this as well.
Having your track go on the pages helps you out with exposure to your track as its on your page, the front if its a new song or in the charts. It also makes the pages look better :- )
Open loops tracks get extra exposure as if credited properly they also show up on the artists page itself as new tracks with loops by so & so on them.
Thanks!
Oh & here is a image of the Omni & the Anguish in Pensacola from fall break last month. :-)

Man those datawhore remixes sure were a lot of fun!
A Big thanks to Jeremy for making all of those wonderful tracks available for remixing. Was a blast Jeremy!
A bit of progressive electronica with a middle eastern feel. First track I have recorded in 6 months took a bit of a break I guess. Not that I do not have ideas just other things more pressing lately. Use your ear goggles as its very ear goggle friendly. This track is not only a TG track but a remix of datawhores Olivier, The Point Is & The Nature Of My Dream. I used certain samples from each one. 6 months ago I planned on remixing all 3 tracks as I had done all the other ones that datawhore had offered up. Then about 3 months ago while at work I decided to do a combo of the 3, I had heard all the material so I pretty much knew what I wanted to do with it as well as the Buzzy & Anti - G loops. Just had to find the time to compose the thing & add my stuffing. Enjoy the madness if you will.

Reviews for some of the Open Loop CD'S
MENTAL ANGUISH: Open Loops Vol. 1 (CD on Harsh Reality Music and Tapegerm) from Matt Howarths Sonic Curiousity
This CD from 2005 features 53 minutes of splice and dice tuneage.
Mental Anguish is Chris Phinney. Tapegerms is a sonic collective community, represented here by: Cystem, Mystified, Q-Cut, DJ Get Yo Fat On, Heuristic Inc., Omnitechnomatrix, Dave Fuglewicz, and Buzzsaw & the Shavings.
The idea is: each performer contributes samples and riffs that are then mutated by other members of this electronic community. Fragments are transformed into music, often raucous in nature, but hardly unmelodic. Abrasive, though, is an amply applicable description. But strangely, for all these qualifiers, the tunes are engaging and often breathtaking.
Drum riffs conspire with grinding guitar attacks to produce hypnotic pieces. A bevy of slick electronics serve to cement the elements into a glistening display of tasty tuneage. Bass tones provide a rumbling undercurrent that uplifts the rest of the instruments.
An amazing thing is how different each track is. While one blazes with guitar pyrotechnics, another applies sultry smoothness with a touch of synthetic church bells. One track blends agro electronics with heavy metal guitar to rail against telemarketers and their predilection to always call during dinnertime. Another track generates a dreamy soundscape that would be ambient if not for its overtly gritty manner.
With the exception of the source material, the only property shared by all the compositions is a dedication to alternative sensibilities. Spurning traditional pop format, this music strives to push the envelope by forcing experimental attitudes into a pop venue, ultimately imbuing the music with a subliminal dissatisfaction with conventionality. This urge is not only laudable, it produces a tasty selection of music that resides outside the box.
For all its anarchistic roots, this music is highly listenable, often delivering tunes that would have been suitably appropriate during the Eighties heyday of electro-pop.
MENTAL ANGUISH: Open Loops Vol. 2 (CD on Harsh Reality Music)
This CD from 2005 features 71 minutes of industrial music stemming from online collaborations, with each band borrowing samples from each other and utilizing them according to their own idiosyncratic style.
Included here are tracks by:
Buzzsaw & the Shavings: who contribute three tracks of gritty rhythms and quirky electronics that cuts deep and leaves a permanent sonic scar.
Omnitechnomatrix: who contribute three beat-driven compositions that are dense with whirring effects and nimble-fingered chords.
Cystem: whose three tracks harness chaos with glib deftness, generating melodic tapestries of brutal impacts and liquid basslines.
Mental Anguish: whose pair of contributions combine delicate riffs with hyperactive velocity peppered with grinding effects and industrial electronics.
Q-Cut: whose single track introduces a slippery edge to the overall harsh milieu with distinctly dancefloor sensibilities.
Blind Meme Ensemble: who deliver one track whose approach tends to harness spastic delivery and create lavish surges of dreaminess to a gritty sound.
DJ Get Yo Fat On: whose single track applies growling punctuations to a searing foundation of nasty sounds.
Mystified: whose single contribution is an astral take on the industrial motif that delivers a softer edge with fragile riffs and sedately vibrating beats.
Besides being an excellent introduction to these various bands, this release has solid stand-on-its-own power. The tunes are captivating and thoroughly enjoyable if you're looking for music that spurns commercial intent and explores personal expressions of dynamic charm.
MENTAL ANGUISH: Open Loops Vol. 3 (CD on Harsh Reality Music)
This CD from 2005 features 75 minutes of industrial music stemming from online collaborations, with each band borrowing samples from each other and utilizing them according to their own idiosyncratic style.
Included here are tracks by:
Mental Anguish: who contribute one track comprised of savage beats and fervent electronics.
Esu Kurasu: who offer three pieces that blend frenetic electronics with sampled vocal snippets and furious rhythms.
Mystified: whose single contribution provides a calming break in the overall fury with pensive tones and languid beats.Buzzsaw & the Shavings: whose pair of tracks mix metallic rhythms with wavery keyboards and a rising tide of anticipation.
Cystem: who deliver one track of glistening mien that combines steadfast beats with surging electronics.
DJ Get Yo Fat On: whose pair of contributions take different approaches, the first exploring numerous variations of an eerie theme with snappy percussives and novel electronic embellishments, while the second splices clever vocal snippets together with a plethora of unconventional instruments and injects a touch of dance fever to the strange mesh.
Dave Fuglewicz: whose single offering injects a sense of hesitancy to a dose of whirling effects and speed-altered sounds.
Omnitechnomatrix: whose single contribution steps up the pace with explosive electronic punctuations mired in a seething pool of glooping rhythms.
Climax Generator: whose sole track applied jungle sentiments to the savage beats and surging electronics.
DJ Mar "N" Dean: whose single contribution tempers the industrial motif with a sparkling touch of chittering effects.
Eel Eye: whose sole track combines a haunting undercurrent with jovial riffs and a hint of hip hop.
Again, a superb vehicle to learn the styles of several bands while enjoying a durable sampling of industrial music laced with pep and humor.
