I'm an independent, experimental audio artist. I've been recording since the early 1980's and releasing my work since 1990 in cassette and CDR format. I create with sound to evoke moods, feelings or visions with my sonic sculptures. From euphoria to madness, my compositions can be gently beautiful to obnoxiously noisy.

Sometimes I get nostalgic: the base track for this is a piece I did in 1990 called "Now One I Stand Euphoric" which only used the Noise Generator of my ARP 2600 as the "source" voice of each track (hence the title). That has always been one of my favorite pieces and I decided to update it twenty one (yeah, I know, whew) years later with a heaping handful of Germaniac loops. Hope y'all like the results.

Deconstructing and demixing Unterzone is a dangerous process, do not attempt it without obtaining the proper training and the proper equipment. The smoke induction machine has yielded a highly ear goggle friendly result but be careful, prolonged
listening with ear goggles can osmosify the last dregs of your sanity. I used Hammerhead to create the drum/rhythm loop. The main vocal loop was improvised live by jumping around Jeremy's vocal file and recording it with Total Recorder.
Jeremy's vocal file was also fed into EVP Maker, the result was split in half like a ripe melon and paralleled for a subtle
but maximum effect.
I also used a vast and weighty selection of loops from Datawhore's Feb., 2009 Open Loops, Cystem's Open Loops 2, and Cystem's Heat Wave Aug., 2006 FTP loops, mashed by my sonic centrifuge, then clarified and Martinized for optimum placement. Jeremy sent me this after hearing an old analog piece of mine I unearthed from the tape archives. It was an unreleased piece that was going to be part of a collaborative release, but alas, that collaboration fell apart. It's only fitting that it is an integral part of this collaboration with Jeremy. His poem, vocals and his treatment of his vocals are truly outstanding. This piece came together amazingly fast. Ear goggles or a stereo are recommended for playback for full effect but not required. Here's something for all you Heldon, etc fans, a song by Ambient Meat (originally released in 1996) remixified with some of Cystem's tasty, vitamin fortified three hundred and thirteen ways waves. I released this briefly in 2006 at TG but took it down, thought I'd give it another peek at yer ear sockets. Ambient Meat consisted of Marty Ashmore, Chuck Dimling and myself. They jammed on guitar and guitar synthesizer, I produced and added drums and synthesizer.

I've added the four loops I used to create the sounds for "Beautiful (Skin Deep Mix)" to my Open Loop folder. I also deleted some older ones from 2010 but will be adding them to my TG FTP folder. This is prime material, covering nearly two years of work together. mostly from Tapegerm. Everyone is credited in a the album download accompanying pdf. I've uploaded over 700 Megs of loops for my fifth Open Loop "project". I hope you enjoy them. I've been using some new to me VST's from Psychic Modulation http://www.psychicmodulation.com/
and a couple of my ol' standby programs, "Coagula" and "TS-404", (by the way: all of these are freeware) to compose the loops. Have fun.

I've added a new mix called "Resurrection Conclusion" and as the name implies it is the final piece to the Resurrection series. All sounds were created using the fine loops by Arthur Loves Plastic.

I've uploaded 143 meg of new open loops for y'all to have fun with.
They are available by clicking on the Loop Projects link at the top of most of the Tapegerm pages. Of course you must have a fully activated account & be logged in to get them.
I composed these loops for use at the Tampa Noise Fest in June of this year. I didn't use all of them and not all the permutations are included with these new loops.
Hope you enjoy them.

Aided and abetted on this by the Mentally Anguished one, Chris Phinney and Mr. Action himself; Charles Rice Goff III. This also features a loop which will be part of my next Open Loop extravaganza, stay tuned, so this does follow the TG Rulez of Misconduct. It also features a no name science clip that I'm sure is in the public domain. And I do believe a possible surprise visit by Burl Ives.^!^

I've added "Snowbolt Fury" and it's an extended slice of noise. I've been playing with the freeware program "Rollosonic" and used it to create some of the loops for this. The rest of the loops are by Hal McGee, suitably mangled for the occasion. Look out for the snowbolts, they are dangerous.

Several weeks ago I had a very vivid dream of three tornadoes. I saw them approach and then pass on by. I used that dream as a jumping off point for this piece. I used at least one loop from every artist that contributed to Loop Pack 15 for this.
