The ideals of the Enlightenment attended all the emminent guests of Frederick the Great at the castle of Sans Soucci, preening themselves in liberation from the fetters and attitudes of the past, the tyranny of artistic dogma abetted by the wisdom of the philosophes as they entered the music chamber and sat down for the latest concert under the portraits and busts of Voltaire and Bayle. Suddenly the notes of music flew up the walls, tore the canvas and smashed the marble and in a scream and a groan, artistic dogma returned. Frederick bades sabre-wielding Prussians to appear and Buzzy eventually managed escape. Suddenly there is much care here.
